WORKSHOP

Energy crisis is a prominent topic which is being discussed among people of all sorts of life. As an Engineer, it is a must that we have to find a solution for this problem.
As a first step towards this novel aim, we have arranged a workshop which could provide you with the details of this tedious issue and also provides a solution which can be inclined to.

Four sessions are held as a part of our idea:

Session:1 A brief section about SMART GRID SYSTEMS which will give the students an insight about the various renewable energy sources and also about how to integrate them into a single grid system.

Session:2 A section about the MODERN TRENDS IN RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR will provide the recent ideas and various research topics currently being studied to the students using which they can develop their own renewable energy system

Session:3 POWER QUALITY ANALYSIS will be discussed where the various power quality issues and the ways to reduce transimission losses and other problems will be discussed

Session:4 PRACTICAL WORK PROVIDES BETTER KNOWLEDGE. According to this, a practical session for the students will be held. It will provide knowledge on MATLAB and SEQUEL, a software for simulation on solar concepts will be taught .

Speakers from IIT Mumbai will be handling the sessions.  Registration fee for the workshop is Rs.500 and DD for the above amount should be taken in favour of eee-interfacet11 and must be sent to us on or before January 22,2012.
