KMAT 2012 - Karnataka MBA/MCA Admission Test is held for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs. Karnataka Postgraduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) conducts KMAT 2012 exam for admission into management quota seats in colleges affiliated with Universities in Karnataka. 

The KPPGCA is a professional organization established on January 29, 2003 to offer hands on support to professional education and training and make admission process much efficient for admission into professional courses like MBA and MCA.

At present 113 colleges and institutions across Karnataka offers admission on the basis of KPPGCA - KMAT 2012. The KPPGCA organizes KMAT 2012 in different cities across Karnataka. 

KMAT 2012 offers three choices in the application form to the candidates while making application for the KMAT 2012 Test. Candidates might opt for either Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Computer Application (MCA) or both.

• Date & Time of KMAT 2012 Entrance Test: July 22, 2012 (Sunday) (2pm to 5pm)

Students wishing to appear for KMAT 2012 can note down the important dates of the KMAT 2012 test as given here:

• Availability of physical Application Form in Participating Colleges: April 26, 2012
• Availability of online Application Form on the website http://www.kmatindia.com: April 26, 2012
• Last date of distribution of Physical Application Form from participating colleges: July 12, 2012
• Last date for availability of online Application form on the website http://www.kmatindia.com: July 12, 2012
• Last date for receipt of Completed Application Forms along with a DD of Rs. 500/- for candidates appearing for either MBA or MCA and Rs. 600/- for candidates appearing for both, MBA and MCA. DD should be in the name of “KMAT2012” and should be payable at Bangalore: July 12, 2012
• Result (website) will be announced on: August 08, 2012

KMAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with any Bachelors Degree of minimum 3 years duration after 10+2 stream, in any discipline viz; science, humanities, commerce, computers etc from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects; including languages are eligible to apply for Karnataka Management Admission Test (KMAT).

KMAT 2012 Admit Card

Candidates must note down their roll number to access their E- Admit Card for KMAT 2012 as and when it will be hosted on KMAT 2012 website. Usually, candidate's date of birth and roll number are required for the purpose of downloading KMAT admit cards.
