AIM
To learn more about the industrial data communication protocols.
OBJECTIVES:
i. To understand basic data networks
ii. To learn the basic of inter networking
iii. To have adequate knowledge in various communication protocol. iv. To study industrial data communication.
UNIT I DATA NETWORK FUNDAMENTALS

objects – system operation – troubleshooting – review

Industrial Ethernet : Introduction – 10Mbps Ethernet, 100Mbps Ethernet.
Radio and wireless communication : Introduction – components of radio link – the radio spectrum
and frequency allocation – radio modems.
