AIM

To expose the students to the Instrumentation applied in petrochemical industries.


OBJECTIVES
i.          To expose the students to the basic processing in petroleum industry. ii.    To provide adequate knowledge about the unit operations.
iii.         To  impart  knowledge  pertaining  to  the  petroleum  products  and  the  chemicals obtained from them.
iv.        To provide adequate knowledge about the measurement of various parameters in
petrochemical industry.
v.         To expose the students to the various control loops in Petrochemical Industry.

UNIT II            OPERATIONS IN PETROLEUM INDUSTRY                                                             9

UNIT III           CHEMICALS FROM PETROLEUM PRODUCTS                                                       9

UNIT IV          CONTROL LOOPS IN PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY                                        9
