Anna University Exam May June 2012 - Out of syllabus, Out of question, Wrong question, Extra Marks, Grace Mark discussion
All affiliated colleges of Anna University is now under one control. All syllabus are same. But previously for one subject Chennai will have one syllabus and Coimbatore will have slight different syllabus.
Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Trichi e.t.c have different question paper but now we all write for same question paper.

8th semester EEE:
HVDC- 13a) CC and CEA control.
UEE- 15 a) and 12 a)i)insufficient data for finding plant capacity factor.
anyhow i am not sure if they'll give grace marks for these questions.

I am from ECE ..
on 6th June i had exam..
In that 15th question both (i) and (ii) almost same question.. Same question is asked in either or choice.

mechanical engg if you atten 16 marks question 5question more than half you will get 10 r more than 10. than 5 2marks is enough u'll pass need not to be worry

45 is pass mark.. But you must have 14 as internal
if 45 is converted to 80% .. It will be 36
If you have internal 14 .. Finally you get 50 marks
Eventhough u have full internal minimum mark to score in theory is 45/100

i am doing b.sc computer technology applied mathematics is very difficult in this time, we know only 2 or 3 questions so how to pass in this paper? any grace marks is there?

6th semester ECE: VLSI
maximum 34 marks given as grace mark
15(a) and 15(b) both questions are out of syllabus
(note VHDL and Verilog HDL are not same VHDL is not in syllabus)
then 9th and 10th two mark questions are also out of syllabus

FEA paper for mechanical engineering 3rd year is very difficult. both 2 marks and 16 marks were very tough...i hope the correction will be very liberal else most of us will fail.
results are expected in last week of july may be around 25th or so.
